MakeArt will be open Tuesday 12.30 til 5.30, Wednesday til Saturday, 10 til 5.30, and Sunday and Thursday evening by appointment.
We will be closed for our Christmas break from Christmas Eve and reopening on Friday January 16th 2009.

MakeArt is a new arts and crafts shop and studio, a place for you to make something for yourself or friends. Buy a kit to take home or make it in our shop, with all the tools and equipment you might need.

MakeArt works a little like a pottery painting café, only with a lot more choice! We have four main areas of crafts to make or buy: ceramic painting, beads and jewellery making, collage and decoupage, and all things to do with painting and drawing. If you re making at MakeArt, you pay a small hourly studio fee. We also have a range of children’s crafts and kits to take away and make or to make it in the shop. We will be running a variety of MakeArt sessions for both children and adults. Crafts offered will include silk painting, clay button and bead making, canvas portraits for kids, glass painting, mask making plus many, many more! To help you focus while you work there will be coffee, tea and juices plus a range of great cakes and snacks.
